  • Learning to Serve provides an opportunity for you to divert a portion of your state income tax and send it to LEAP Academy.

    No tricks, no gimmicks; it is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit and it will cost you nothing extra.

  • Current tax credit limits for SSO donations are capped as follows

    ● Single individual or head of household – up to $2,500

    ● Married couple filing joint return – up to $5,000

    ● Members of pass-through entities (LLC, subchapter S-Corporation, partnership) - up to $25,000

    ● C-Corporations – up to 75 % of the organization’s income tax liability.

  • It is our desire at LEAP Academy to keep tuition as low as possible. We ask that you please consider participating in this vital program.

    Our success in fundraising for Learning to Serve and the students of LEAP Academy will assist in the stability of our school for years to come.

  • The Georgia Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit allows Georgia taxpayers to direct their tax dollars to help students earn a scholarship to attend an accredited K-12 private school.

  • STEPS

    1. Apply between June and December.

    2. Learning to Serve submits your TP1 form to GA Dept. of Revenue

    3. Approval- GA DOR will mail you an approval letter in mid-January 2025.

    4. Make payment- Make your donation to Learning to Serve via check within 60 days of receiving the DOR approval letter (before March 15, 2025).

    5. Get your credit- Following receipt of your donation, Learning to Serve will send you the required paperwork to claim the credit with your taxes. Check with your tax professional, as you may be eligible for a federal tax deduction as well.
